Vumatel will be conducting service affecting maintenance on core equipment which will result in intermittent services between 02:00 - 06:00 on the mornings of 11, 12, 13 December 2018.

As part of the growth of Vumatel's Cape Town network, upgrades to core infrastructure are required at Vumatel's two data centres as well as on the link between the two to ensure continued great service.

We have completed our Bryanston node commissioning successfully.  However, the process of clients obtaining new IP addresses is running slower than expected.  Around 60% of all affected clients have new IP addresses and will be receiving service.  DHCP requests are being processed continuously and we expect the process to be completed within the next three hours.  We cannot force requests for particular clients; IP addresses will be allocated when the DHCP request is processed through the queue.
